The Crossings in Carlsbad Wedding: Kristen and Cody
This was the first opportunity I have had to DJ a Wedding at the Crossings in Carlsbad.  It is one of the closest Wedding Venues to my house, and it is such a great location.  Hopefully this starts to happen more!  Kristen and Cody were referred to me by a past client, which probably explains why I was invited to DJ at the Crossings.  The Crossings is a venue with a strong preferred vendor list, and the onsite coordinator strongly recommends the vendors on their list.  Most of the vendors I've spoken to in San Diego through ABC and other networking groups, mention that they have never had the opportunity of working their either.  Perhaps in time, more couples who get married at The Crossings will begin reaching out to some of the amazing vendors San Diego has to offer, as Kristen and Cody did.

This was such a beautiful wedding at the Museum of Contemporary Art, La Jolla.  With so many great aspects it's hard to even know where to begin.  Dev and Aiko found my services via an internet search.  We met at a nice bistro in La Jolla and talked about many detailed aspects of what they were looking for, and my experiences at MOCA.  I have been fortunate to DJ a wedding there just about once a year or so for quite some time, and had a lot of ideas and photos to pull from.

Photographic Arts Museum in Balboa Wedding: Oleg and Thao

      I am very excited to blog this wedding and share it with the world and potential clients.  This is by far one of my favorite weddings of not only 2011, but as my entire career as a Wedding DJ.  Of course a bit of that has to do with the fact that Oleg and Thao wanted many of my lighting upgrades--this is not only fun for me because obviously I enjoy this stuff, but it also makes for some amazing photos and Jenny Thai did an absolutely amazing job at capturing some.

Admiral Kidd Club: Danny and Lora
Danny and Lora came to find my services from Danny's cousin, Esteban.  I DJ'd Esteban and Geneva's wedding last year in the same room, for many of the same people!  While jokes insued throughout the evening between myself and Esteban about the contest between the two weddings, I'd say that there is no contest.  They were both energetic, with a fun crowd.  Tons of dancing, tons of different kinds of dance music all the way until midnight or later.  I am grateful to have DJ'd both of these weddings for such a fun crowd!

Jared and Katherine came to find my services via an internet search in 2010, nearly a year before their wedding.  I was happy to get to finally work a wedding at L'auberge Del Mar as I had heard so many good things about it, but hadn't had the opportunity to DJ a wedding there.  It was an absolutely beautiful wedding, from the ceremony to the reception.  Jared and Katherine were such nice people and a pleasure to work with.  It was truly an honor to be a part of their wedding.

The Crosby is located in Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego, California.  Surrounded by large estates, golf courses, resorts, beautiful views and winding roads, The Crosby is one of San Diego's most elegant Wedding Venues.  Tom and Jamie came to find my services via search engines.  We discussed details leading up their wedding concerning the wedding ceremony, reception, dance lighting and uplighting.  There was no wedding coordinator other than the onsite; Tom and Jamie did an outstanding job creating a beautiful event for their guests.

Admiral Kidd Club: Esteban and Geneva
The Admiral Kidd Club boasts when of the best views out of all of San Diego's Wedding Venues.  While Tom Ham's is often renowned for it's view of San Diego's Skyline, it is actually adjacent to it.  Admiral Kidd sits on the Naval Base in Point Loma.  It's backdrop from behind either the upstairs or downstairs room, including the ceremony lawn is the San Diego bay and San Diego Skyline.

I have been fortunate enough DJ many weddings at The Museum of Contemporary Art, La Jolla. This is one of those venues that truly reminds me of how fortunate I am to be doing what I'm doing. After DJ'ing an event with such a beautiful backdrop overlooking La Jolla's shoreline I can't help but to feel passionate about my business.  The decor, uplighting, amazing cocktail band and to top it all off, one of the best Wedding Coordinators I've had the pleasure to work with, this was a truly unforgettable wedding.

This is a wedding that took place in summer of 2010 at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa.  The Sheraton is overlooking Legoland and the Pacific Ocean and is a beautiful North County San Diego wedding location.  Brian and Mary Gallegly, the Bride and Groom, planned the wedding entirely themselves and did a fantastic job.

Admiral Kidd Wedding

This was a great wedding for a young couple.  This was the first time I've DJ'd a wedding in the smaller room at the Admiral Kidd club.  The room is great, and even though smaller than upstairs it was still rather roomy.  There were plenty of places to accent the room with the uplights, and plenty of room for dancing.
