Skyline Ranch Wedding: Justin and Georgia

Most of the wedding day was smooth as can be.  Towards the end of dinner, there was an issue however.  The lighting in the China Ball lanterns which were lighting up the entire reception, had a power outage.  There was a breaker issue and it took some time for the lights to come on.  This wasn't a game breaker though, it just took some quick thinking between myself and the videographer.  We had ran some power off of my DJ gear and moved it over to the head table area.  The videographer took his umbrella lights and turned them on permanent on mode and shined them down onto the head table so we could proceed with the photo montage, toasts and events to follow.

I'd be lying if I said there wasn't an added element of stress at this point in the night.  But that's how things go sometimes.  We all worked together and made some quick decisions, and then by the time the photo montage and toasts were wrapping up, the venue had corrected the breaker issue (I think he ended up replacing the entire breaker on the spot, good thing he knew what he was doing!) and the lights came back on in time for the special event dances.

Georgia and Justin seemed to have a great time.  They danced with their guests and indulged in the beautiful and serene atmosphere they had worked so hard to create.  For their exit and send off they had a classic car, dating from the 1930's I believe, from a guest who owned the vehicle.  It was completely original, not restored, and was really a cool site to see.  I am sure you can see some more photos of it, if you head over to Julie Dawn's blog (the Photographer, her link is at the bottom).  Thanks to Justin and Georgia for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day.  I had a great time!  Thanks to Julie Dawn for sending me a few photos and chatting at the end of the reception.
