Marina Village Wedding: Mike and Meredith

Meredith and Michael came to find my services via the internet.  We met a couple of times to review the details of their wedding, and to talk about music.  They had a lot of ideas for music, the itinerary and such.  We all acted together to be the wedding coordinator, working out the flow of the evening in a way that made the most sense for their guests and what the Bride and Groom wanted to do.

The ceremony took place elsewhere, which meant the guests were to come in a bit earlier than the wedding party.  With a fun grand entrance, into dinner, toasts, a choreographed first dance followed by open dancing and other various events, it made for an outstanding evening.  Apparently one of the traditions amongst friends was to throw napkin balls at the Bride and Groom, after their first dance.  I am pretty sure this had something to do with the college they all attended.  Nontheless, it made for a funny moment seeing the bride and groom pelted with black napkin balls right after their choreographed first dance.  Much thanks to those who threw them, quickly picking them up off the dance floor immediatly afterwards. 

Also, I'd like to take a quick moment to tell you about Nick Abadilla.  It has been quite some time since I've worked with a photographer as smooth and helpful as Nick.  He was so very good at getting everyone in the right spot for photos.  He did it so naturally, that I was very impressed with him.  To add to my being impressed, he was extremely quick at getting back to me with some wedding photos to post here on my blog.  I would highly recommend Nick as a wedding photographer as I was genuinely impressed.
