L'auberge Del Mar Wedding: Jared and Katherine

Jared and Katherine had their wedding ceremony right on the deck, near the Pool at L'auberge Del Mar, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  The officiant of the wedding was referred by me, one of my best friends Michael Buckley.  He actually officiated my wedding as well, and does it professionally.  He teaches literature and creative writing at UCLA and CSU Dominguez Hills.  Katherine and Jared wanted something non-denominational, but eloquent as well.  Mike is the absolute best choice in my opinion, for this request.

After the ceremony, the guests had cocktail on the patio, followed by Dinner in the reception hall.  We had lit the room with an orange, rustic uplighting, as well as the dancing lights for atmosphere later in the evening.  The room was elegant and packed full of people--I've found that this is actually good for dancing.  To have a rather packed room, instead of a room that is really large and seems empty.  Jared and Katherine's guests enjoyed the dance floor, the drinking and dancing throughout the rest of the evening making for an absolutely beautiful and memorable wedding reception.

Thank you Jared and Katherine for allowing me to be your wedding DJ.  I truly had an amazing time with your guests, the photographer Jenna, and the wedding coordinators at L'auberge Del Mar.
