Falkner Winery: Mike and Rachel

On this particular November day, rain decided to fall from the sky and create a day of change of plans.  Rather than the reception taking place outside in the vineyard, it took place downstairs below the reception hall, in the barrel room.  Fortunately the Falkner Winery has an absolutely beautiful and photogenic barrel room.  It was dark, dimly lit by candles throughout, making for an intimate and "moody" ceremony.

Afterwards the guest came up for some cocktails, into dinner hour.  Towards the end of dinner a Photo Montage for the guests, into toasts and open dancing.  This was one of the easier dance floors I had in a long time, feeling as though I could play anything and they'd simply keep dancing.  I don't think the dancing stopped at any point in the evening from the beginning.

The only real challenge to the Falkner winery lies on the location of the DJ, which is in the far corner.  At first I was worried about possibly being "disconnected" from the guests, but thankfully the guests at this wedding couldn't have danced more, or been more responsive to what I was playing.  It was truly a wonderful wedding and I am so happy to have been a part of this beautiful day.  A special thanks to Beki Dawn for the wedding photos!!!
