| Review of Paradise Gardens in Oceanside |
|
There is a koy pond with a waterfall, a tiki bar and beautiful lighting all around the property. Your wedding ceremony can take place in the gazebo, with the pond as your backdrop, or next to the koy pond and flowing waterfall. A tent can be rented and set up near the back of the property to facilitate larger weddings, or for off season events. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, there are several hotels nearby in Oceanside and Carlsbad and if large groups are booked, you can set up a shuttle for you and your guests. Although Paradise Gardens is an outdoor venue, there isn't an excessive low noise ordinance. From my experience as a Wedding DJ, having an outdoor wedding venue that has harsh restrictions on volume can often lead to short-lived dance floor, which usually results in a short-lived wedding reception. Probably one of Paradise Gardens best features, would be the staff. I have worked with Alice and many others at Paradise Gardens for years and they really have a great way of making people feel relaxed and at home. I have worked at just about every popular and high-priced wedding venue in San Diego County Paradise Gardens is still one of my favorites. I have attended weddings here for family, and I am even planning my wedding here for summer of 2009. ~Matt Phipps |
