Q:  How much money is required to book a DJ for my event?

A:   To secure a DJ for your event, there is a deposit of $100.00 as well as the review and signing of a business agreement.  The rest of the balance is due by the night of the event.  You can choose to pay in full prior to the event, or even make small incremental payments via paypal, credit card, cash or check.  The business agreement makes sure that we have the correct date, time and location for your event.

Q:  How far in advance can I book a DJ for my wedding or party?

A:  You can book a DJ for your wedding or party as far in advance as you would like.  If you are certain you'd like a particular DJ, it is best to book as far in advance as possible.  Being that most people start planning their wedding nearly a year in advance, it is best to get your core wedding professionals booked early.

Q:  Your online database of music is HUGE.  Do I have to make requests through the database prior to my event?

A:  No.  The online database of music is yours to use simply to give us ideas of what songs and genre's of music you are interested in having played.  We are professional and seasoned DJ's and can make just about any group of people have a good time on the dance floor.  The database of music is simply for people who have a strong preference in their music, or are just curious as to what we have.

Q:  Will the DJ that I meet with, be the DJ at my wedding ceremony/reception?

A:  Yes!  The DJ that you meet with (we offer an obligation free meeting for bride's and groom's to explain our services and itinerary in detail) WILL be the DJ at your wedding.  If for some reason extreme circumstances would prevent the DJ you met from being at your wedding, we will provide for you another DJ whom you can meet with and discuss all of the details of your wedding and itinerary prior to the wedding so you feel comfortable with the transition.

Q:  I see you have online planning forms for wedding itineraries, do we have to use these?

A:  The online planning forms are for you and your DJ to get all of the specific details of your event in order.  We have suggestions based on many years of experience for wedding itineraries and also party itineraries and we use the online planning forms (which you can view and update after you are provided a login) to get all of the details in order.

Q:  Do Choice Entertainment DJ's professional mix their music?

A:  Absolutely.  While there are some older genres of music that don't mix in a beat-matching sense, we will still arrange and coordinate the playlist in ways of genre and tempo as well as beat-match and "mix" newer music at every event.  The difference between a good DJ and a great DJ is the ability to provide a fluent and professional mix on the dance floor.

Q:  Do you charge extra for your professional LED lightshow?

A:  No.  We never have any additional costs (except for photo slide-show projector and screen rentals) for our "extras".  We include state of the art LED lightshows which are white lights for slow dances which take the place of traditional disco balls, and colored lights for upbeat dance songs.  This is to make the dance atmosphere more inviting.

Q:  Do you charge for Setup or Tear-down?

A:  No.  We always arrive at least an hour prior which we do not charge for.  The cost is based on hours of DJ'ing and playing music.

Q:  For wedding ceremonies, do you offer a wireless lapel microphone for the wedding officiant?

A:  Yes.  We have a wireless clip-on lapel mic for wedding officiants which is included in the package.
